Over the past day, 170 combat engagements took place on the front lines between Ukrainian defenders and Russian troops. The enemy also carried out 59 airstrikes and deployed approximately 6,300 drones of various types.
According to the General Staff, the most intense fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors, where Russian troops continue to carry out active assault operations.
In total, 170 combat engagements have taken place since the start of this day. The enemy launched 6,300 drones and dropped 180 guided bombs, with the most intense activity occurring in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy launched one attack, which is currently ongoing. At the same time, the occupiers carried out 46 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas.
Over the past 24 hours, in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched seven assaults on our units’ positions near Staritsa and Lyman.
In the Kupiansk sector today, the enemy launched one assault on the positions of the Defense Forces near the town of Novoplatonivka.
Fifteen attempts by the invaders to advance were recorded in the Lyman sector near the settlements of Novoselivka, Lyman, Dibrova, Dronivka, Kryva Luka, and Zakytne; one firefight is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance near Rai-Oleksandrivka.
One enemy assault was recorded in the Kramatorsk sector near Chasovyi Yar.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 22 enemy assaults near Ivanopil, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Torske, and Mykolaipil.
In total, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Toretsk, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Serhiivka, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, and Novoplatonivka.
According to preliminary estimates, 34 occupiers were killed and 23 wounded here today; three enemy vehicles and five pieces of specialized equipment were destroyed. Four enemy artillery systems and three enemy vehicles were damaged. A total of 335 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.
Our defenders repelled four attacks by the occupiers in the Oleksandrivka sector, in the areas of Kalynivka, Danilivka, Yegorivka, and Rybne.
Seven attacks by the occupiers were recorded in the Huliaipole sector near the settlements of Vozdvizhivka, Rivne, Hirke, and Charivne; three firefights are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Novoselivka, Zarichne, and Novoyakovlivka; two more clashes are ongoing.
In the Dnipro sector, no enemy assaults were recorded.
In other sectors, there have been no significant changes in the situation, the General Staff concluded.

As a reminder, a gas station and a facility were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the Poltava region.
In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of an attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 troops and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
