124 clashes reported on frontline in past day, Ukrainian General Staff says
On 11 February, the intensity of fighting on the frontline remained high, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
Ukrainian defence forces recorded 124 clashes with Russian occupying troops. The enemy continues to use the full spectrum of available weapons, including aircraft and thousands of kamikaze drones.
The Russian army also carried out large-scale shelling of both Ukrainian positions and frontline settlements. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched three missile strikes and 90 air raids, dropping 246 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian territory.
Drone attacks were particularly intense, with Russian forces deploying nearly 8,000 kamikaze drones. Numerous areas in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions were affected, including the settlements of Havrylivka, Huliaipilske, Veselianka, and Yuriivka.
In total, Russian forces carried out almost 3,500 attacks, 54 of which involved multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
The highest enemy activity was recorded in the Pokrovske and Huliaipilske directions. In the Pokrovske sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 assault actions near Rodynske, Pokrovske, and Hryshyne. On the Huliaipilske front, 15 attacks were recorded targeting Zaliznychne and Tsvitkove.
Earlier, the Ukrainian military confirmed gains on the Huliaipilske front and restored full control over the village of Prydorozhne in Zaporizhzhia region.
