A total of 215 attacks were recorded on the front lines, with the highest number occurring in the Pokrovsk sector

Over the past 24 hours, 215 combat engagements took place on the front lines between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops. 

The Russian army carried out 98 airstrikes over the past day, dropping 353 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the occupiers deployed 10,672 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,933 shelling attacks, 25 of which involved multiple-launch rocket systems.

One enemy assault took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. Russian troops also carried out 78 shelling attacks and launched 5 airstrikes using 11 guided aerial bombs.

In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 7 attacks. The Russians attempted to advance in the areas of Lyman, Khatne, Vodyane, Volokhivka, Mala Vovcha, and Starytsia.

In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers stormed the Defense Forces’ positions nine times, attempting to advance toward Radkivka, Kivsharivka, and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman sector, 8 attacks were recorded—toward Shyikivka, Dibrova, Novoselivka, Drobyshove, and Lyman.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Russian army carried out 8 assaults in the Kryva Luka area and toward Ozerne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one offensive operation by Russian forces toward Yurkivka was recorded.

Russian forces were most active in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, there were 25 enemy attacks. The occupiers launched assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Mykolaipillia, Sofiivka, Vilne, and Rusyn Yar.

Russian troops carried out another 31 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The invaders attempted to advance toward Hannivka, Bilytske, Vilne, Dobropillia, Novofedorivka, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, and Myrne, as well as in the areas of Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Hryshyn, and Udachne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops did not carry out any assault operations over the past 24 hours.

On the Huliaipole sector, the Russians attempted to attack four times, advancing toward Dobropillia, Vozdvizhivka, and Hirkyi.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five attempts by Russian troops to advance in the areas of Novoandriivka, Novoyakovlivka, Stepove, Primorske, and Mali Shcherbakiv.

In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, Ukrainian military forces detected no signs of the Russian army forming offensive groups.

At the same time, over the past day, the Defense Forces’ air force, missile forces, and artillery struck three areas where Russian forces were concentrated, 7 artillery systems and positions, 3 UAV command posts, a warehouse and repair facility, a command post, and another important facility.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its morning briefing as of 8:00 a.m. on September 3.

Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down 135 out of 163 drones that Russian troops had used to attack the country’s territory since the evening of September 2. 

On September 3, a man was injured in the Boryspil district of Kyiv region as a result of a Russian attack. It is known that one person was wounded by the enemy strike.

In the Khmelnytskyi region, debris from a downed Russian attack drone caused a fire in the warehouse of a local enterprise. The fire covered an area of 200 square meters, according to Serhiy Tyurin, head of the regional military administration.

Over the past day, 15 private homes were damaged in the Mykolaiv region as a result of attacks by Russian Shahed-type strike UAVs. A social services building and three vehicles were also damaged, according to Mykolaiv Regional State Administration head Heorhii Reshetilov.
