In the Poltava region, a Russian drone struck a company warehouse, damaging homes
On the morning of September 5, a Russian drone struck a warehouse belonging to a private company in the Poltava community. The explosion damaged nearby homes.
At around 9:25 a.m., the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration reported the explosion in Poltava and urged residents to remain in shelters until the air raid alert ended.
Later, Kateryna Yamshchikova, secretary of the Poltava City Council, reported that the city’s emergency response hotline had begun receiving reports of windows shattered by the blast wave.
At approximately 9:47 a.m., the Poltava Regional State Administration clarified that a Russian drone had struck a warehouse belonging to a private company.
The blast wave damaged nearby residential and other buildings.
As of the time of this report, no calls regarding injuries had been received by emergency services. Information regarding the extent of the damage and other consequences of the Russian attack continues to be clarified.
Local authorities have urged residents not to approach the drone debris or other suspicious objects.
If any are found, citizens are asked to notify the State Emergency Service or the police.
