TSN cameraman and aerial reconnaissance officer Yevhen Solovey was killed on the front lines

Yevhen Solovey was killed while carrying out a combat mission on March 27.

"1+1 media" reported this on Facebook.

He worked for many years as a cameraman on the TSN team, and with the start of the full-scale invasion, he took up arms to defend his homeland.

Yevhen’s career at “1+1 media” began back in 2011, and since then, viewers have witnessed thousands of important events through his eyes.

He possessed a unique talent for capturing moments that became part of Ukraine’s recent history.

“On March 27, Yevhen Solovey—a cameraman who worked for many years on the TSN team—was killed,” the media group officially announced.

Colleagues remember him as a top-tier professional and a man of unshakable principles.

For Yevhen, the war did not begin in 2022, but much earlier. Since 2014, he had regularly worked in the combat zone alongside war correspondents, documenting the truth about Russian aggression in Donbas under constant shelling.

After the full-scale invasion began in 2022, he made a resolute decision and volunteered to go to the front.

In the military, Yevgeniy mastered a new specialization—he became a drone pilot, using his camerawork skills for reconnaissance and to take out the enemy.

As a reminder, stand-up comedian Artur Petrov was killed on the front lines.

Roman Tkachuk, head of the Institute of Civil Society, also died in the war.

Yaroslav Chernyshev, founder of North Side Group, was killed on the front lines.
