In the Kharkiv region, the mandatory evacuation zone for civilians is being expanded due to the threat of a deteriorating security situation. The decision was made by the Regional Defense Council, with the participation of leaders of law enforcement agencies, rescue workers, military personnel, and district administrations.
In the Shevchenkivska community of the Kupianskyi district,a mandatory evacuation has been ordered for residents of 41 settlements.

In the Bohodukhiv District, the evacuation will affect residents of the settlements of Ulyanivka and Zarichne, as well as the villages of Ivanivka, Zatyshne, Voskresenivka, Korbyni Ivany, Shkarlata, Devyatibratove, Zaryabinka, Leskivka, Kostyantynivka, and Snigi.
In the Kharkiv district, the decision applies to the Derhachi community, where a mandatory evacuation of the population has been declared, as well as the compulsory evacuation of children accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
The list of settlements includes the towns of Pytomnyk, Nove, and Slatine, as well asthe villages of Ruska Lozova, Solonyi Yar, Bezruky, and Leshchenky.
“I urge residents of the designated settlements not to neglect their own safety and to evacuate,” emphasized Oleg Synyegubov.
The Regional State Administration reported that the evacuation will be carried out in coordination with volunteers, law enforcement officers, and rescue workers.
After evacuation, people will be transported to transit centers, where they will be provided with:
food and non-food kits;
financial assistance;
legal support;
psychological support.
Special attention will be given during the evacuation to families with children, as well as to the elderly and people with limited mobility.

In addition, the Kharkiv region plans to implement mandatory evacuation of children from a number of settlements due to the deteriorating security situation. Local residents are advised not to delay and to leave immediately.
