Russia attacked Kharkiv with a Shahed drone; a fire broke out near a shopping center
In Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck near a shopping center in the Slobidskyi district. The attack caused a fire, and according to preliminary reports, several cars caught fire.
According to Terekhov, a “Shahed”-type jet drone struck near the shopping center.
“A ‘Shahed’ jet drone struck near a shopping center in the Slobidskyi district. We are investigating the details,” the mayor said.
Later, the head of the Regional State Administration clarified that cars caught fire as a result of the drone strike.
Emergency services are on the scene, dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack and extinguishing the fire.
Information regarding possible casualties is currently being verified.
As a reminder, on July 4, Russian forces also attacked Kharkiv with a strike drone, injuring a 45-year-old woman in the city’s Kyivskyi district.
