In the Poltava region, a Naftogaz gas production facility was shut down following an attack by the Russian Federation

On the morning of July 4, Russian troops attacked one of the Naftogaz Group’s gas production facilities in the Poltava region with drones. The strike caused a fire at the facility, and operations there were temporarily suspended.

The company reported that it is currently impossible to assess the extent of the damage, as necessary work is still underway at the site.

During the airstrike, all personnel took shelter, which prevented any casualties or injuries.

Serhiy Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, emphasized that this is not the first time this facility has been targeted by Russian attacks.

“This gas production facility, like a number of others in the region, has been attacked by the Russians on multiple occasions. The goal of all these strikes is to deprive Ukraine of the ability to produce gas and disrupt preparations for winter,” Koretskyi said.

The company emphasized that experts are continuing to assess the consequences of the attack and are working on further restoration of the damaged infrastructure.

This was reported by NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine.”

On the morning of July 4, Russian troops carried out a drone attack on an industrial facility in the Poltava region. The strike occurred in the Poltava district.

In addition, Russian troops attacked Sumy with guided aerial bombs, injuring an elderly woman. Damage to civilian infrastructure has been reported in the city, and emergency services are assessing the full extent of the strike’s impact.

As a result of a massive Russian strike on the capital, a leased humanitarian warehouse belonging to the Ukrainian Red Cross was completely destroyed; it had stored over 320,000 items of cargo and equipment with a total value of more than 79 million hryvnias

As a result of Russian shelling and a fire at one of the capital’s industrial facilities, fuel and lubricants flowed into Kyrylivskyi Lake in Kyiv through the storm sewer system.
