In the Kharkiv region, the mandatory evacuation zone has been expanded to include the Kupianskyi district
In the Kupianskyi District of Kharkiv Oblast, a decision was made to expand the zone of mandatory and compulsory evacuation.
This was announced by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
According to regional authorities, the decision was made during a meeting of the Kharkiv Regional Defense Council. It involves the evacuation of residents from 12 settlements in the Shevchenkivska community, as well as the mandatory evacuation of families with children.
In total, 756 people, including 74 children, are scheduled to be evacuated from this area.
A decision was also made regarding the mandatory forced evacuation of families with children from 11 settlements in the Velykoburlutsk community. This involves 34 families raising 54 children.
The administration also noted that the issue of expanding the network of safe educational spaces is being considered. In settlements where the terrain makes it difficult to build full-scale shelters with radiation protection, alternative solutions are being developed to ensure the safety of children and the educational process.
In Sloviansk, authorities also plan to implement mandatory evacuation of children from areas most affected by Russian shelling.
