A man died in the Kherson region after stepping on a landmine
In the village of Chervone, Beryslav District, Kherson Region, a local resident was killed when he stepped on an explosive device.
This was reported by Alexander Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
"Around 7:00 p.m., a 26-year-old man sustained fatal injuries as a result of the detonation of an unidentified explosive device. My condolences to his family and loved ones," he wrote on Telegram.
Prokudin urged residents of the region to strictly follow mine safety rules.
Shelling of the Kherson region: 40 settlements have come under attack, resulting in one death and 25 injuries.
Additionally, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that in March, the Russian army suffered its heaviest losses since the start of the full-scale war.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense released data on the advance of Russian occupation forces over the past month.
