A massive fire broke out in the Kyiv region following a Russian strike
A Russian attack caused a massive fire at an infrastructure facility in the Fastiv District of the Kyiv Region. Due to the large area affected by the fire, high temperatures, and heavy smoke, rescue workers had to call in additional equipment and personnel. The fire was eventually completely extinguished.
According to rescue workers, the fire broke out following a Russian strike on one of the infrastructure facilities in the Fastiv district of Kyiv Oblast. The blaze was extensive. Due to the large area affected by the fire, heavy smoke filled the site, and high temperatures complicated the rescuers’ work. Therefore, additional personnel and firefighting equipment from the State Emergency Service were deployed to extinguish the fire.
Rescue workers operated on several fronts simultaneously. Their primary task was not only to extinguish the fire but also to prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. The State Emergency Service noted that thanks to the firefighters’ efforts, the spread of the fire was prevented. “Rescue workers operated simultaneously on several fronts and prevented the fire from spreading to other facilities,” the State Emergency Service reported.
Ultimately, the fire was completely extinguished. The rescue workers did not provide any information in their report regarding casualties resulting from this strike and the subsequent fire.
