Late on the evening of April 27, Russian forces once again launched drone attacks on communities in the Sumy region. Air defense forces shot down some of the drones, but others struck their targets, causing damage.

Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the attack on Telegram.

According to him, in the Romny community, the strikes damaged transportation infrastructure and nearby buildings.

“People took shelter in time. There were no injuries. A 55-year-old woman experienced an acute stress reaction. Medical personnel provided the necessary assistance,” he noted.

Damage was also reported in the residential sector, and some residents were left without power due to the shelling. Restoration work is planned to begin immediately after the security situation stabilizes.

In addition, the Sumy community was also hit. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure facilities were damaged there as well. According to preliminary data, there were no injuries.

On the night of April 27, Russian forces carried out a large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory using various types of strike drones. In total, the enemy launched 94 UAVs, including about 60 “suicide drones.”

Odesa suffered another massive attack by Russian drones on the night of April 27. The shelling damaged residential buildings, a hotel, and civilian infrastructure, and there are casualties.

Russian forces carried out 629 attacks on 45 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. A 59-year-old man was killed in a strike on the Zaporizhzhia district.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, three civilians were injured as a result of shelling on April 26.
