Russia has lost another 810 soldiers and 26 artillery systems in the war against Ukraine

As of April 27, 2026, the total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine since February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,326,460 personnel. Over the past 24 hours alone, another 810 invaders were eliminated.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

In addition to manpower, the Russian army has suffered significant losses in equipment. Specifically, the following have been destroyed:

  • 11,892 tanks (+0 over the past day);
  • 24,467 armored combat vehicles (+4);
  • 40,737 artillery systems (+26);
  • 1,753 multiple launch rocket systems (+0);
  • 1,354 air defense systems (+0);
  • 435 aircraft (+0);
  • 350 helicopters (+0);
  • 259,219 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (+1,128);
  • 4,579 cruise missiles (+0);
  • 33 ships and boats (+0);
  • 2 submarines (+0);
  • 91,710 vehicles and tankers (+128);
  • 4,136 units of specialized equipment (+0).

The General Staff notes that the data provided is subject to revision.

Russian troops continue offensive operations on several fronts simultaneously, attempting to create so-called “buffer zones” and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory. In the Kharkiv region, the occupiers are employing new tactical approaches.

Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 62 times.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has instructed group commanders and corps commanders stationed on the front lines to conduct an inspection of military logistics by May 20.

Military analysts report that Russian occupiers are advancing in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region.
