Shelling in the Kharkiv region claimed the lives of three civilians
The past 24 hours in the Kharkiv region were again marked by Russian shelling, which targeted several districts of the region as well as the city of Kharkiv itself. Three civilians were killed, five others were injured or suffered acute stress reactions, and the region sustained extensive damage. The enemy struck with various types of drones, leaving behind damaged infrastructure and destroyed homes. This was reported on Telegram by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
Over the past 24 hours, Kharkiv and 17 other settlements in the region came under attack by Russian forces, who used various types of drones, including “Geran-2,” “Lancet,” and FPV drones, striking residential neighborhoods, roads, and civilian infrastructure. As a result of the attacks, three people were killed, and five civilians were injured or suffered psychological trauma, including both elderly people and residents of villages and cities across the region.
According to Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, a 66-year-old man was injured in Zolochiv, a 52-year-old woman was wounded in Pisky-Radkivski, and a 46-year-old man was killed in Kivsharivka after being struck in a residential area. In Bohodukhiv, a 53-year-old woman also suffered a severe stress reaction, while in Horokhovatka, two people were killed—a 41-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man—and another 42-year-old woman was injured.
Separately, it is reported that the Nemyshlyansky and Kyivsky districts of Kharkiv came under attack, where the enemy used drones, and at least dozens of various types of unmanned aerial vehicles were deployed across the region, which only underscores the intensity of the shelling and its widespread nature. As a result, in the Bohodukhiv district, power lines, private homes, garages, cars, administrative and utility buildings, as well as apartment buildings were damaged, effectively affecting the entire residential infrastructure.
In the Kupianskyi district, damage to cafes and buildings was recorded, and in the Izium district, public transportation and private cars were damaged, demonstrating once again that not only strategic targets but also ordinary civilian infrastructure are being hit. It is also noted that the transit evacuation point in Lozova received 219 people in a single day, and in total, more than 35,000 evacuees have passed through it since it began operations, indicating the scale of population displacement in the region.
Russian troops continue to launch massive attacks on the Kherson region. Over the past 24 hours, one person was killed in the region, and another 20 were wounded. Kherson and more than three dozen other settlements came under fire.
Over the past day, 13 civilians were injured due to Russian attacks in the Sumy region. Dozens of settlements in the region came under fire, and Russian drones attacked civilian vehicles, homes, and farms.
Russian troops continue to shell the Donetsk region. Over the past day, seven civilians were wounded in the region. Authorities emphasize that the number of war casualties in the region continues to rise almost daily.
Mykolaiv was again under attack by Russian drones, which struck the city and the region. An administrative building was damaged in the shelling, but there were no casualties. The enemy also repeatedly attacked communities in the region with FPV drones and artillery.
The Zaporizhzhia region has endured one of the most intense attacks in recent times, as Russian troops launched hundreds of strikes on dozens of settlements. One man was killed and two others were wounded as a result of the shelling. Both frontline communities and areas further inland came under fire.
Russian drones attacked two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region simultaneously, damaging a high-rise building, administrative buildings, and utility structures. Despite the strikes, there were no casualties. Air defense forces destroyed some of the enemy drones in the sky over the region during the night.
