One killed and three injured after strike in the Hlukhiv community
Russian forces attacked a facility in the Hlukhiv community, resulting in the death of a man and injuries to three others. The fire at the enterprise was extinguished, but rescuers were forced to temporarily suspend operations due to the threat of follow-up strikes. This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
On Tuesday at around 3p.m., Russian occupiers carried out a strike with guided aerial bombs. “Unfortunately, as a result of the strike at one of the enterprises, a civilian man was killed. He sustained injuries incompatible with life. His identity is currently being established,” Hryhorov said.
The State Emergency Service reported that the attack caused a fire at the facility. Rescuers had to retreat to a safe location but later extinguished the flames. According to the regional prosecutor’s office, the deceased was a 27-year-old man. Three men aged 49, 42, and 62 were injured, all of whom were hospitalised to receive medical care.
This attack once again highlights that Russian forces continue to carry out targeted strikes on civilian infrastructure and enterprises in Ukraine, creating a threat to the lives of civilians.
In addition, Russian forces attacked the Nikopol district using FPV drones, with one of the injured being a 4-year-old child.
