Occupiers launch massive shelling of three districts in Donetsk region: two injured, dozens of homes damaged
Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces carried out a series of strikes on residential areas in Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts.
According to official data from the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, the attacks caused significant destruction and injuries among civilians.
The Kramatorsk district suffered the greatest damage, where the enemy deliberately targeted residential neighbourhoods. In Kostiantynivka, three multi-storey apartment buildings were completely destroyed by enemy fire, leading to critical damage to the city’s infrastructure.
In the settlement of Rai-Oleksandrivka, two local residents were injured as a result of shelling.
Additionally, in Mykolaivka, a private house and a civilian vehicle were damaged due to enemy shell explosions.
The Pokrovsk district also came under fire — in Zolotyi Kolodiaz and Toretske of the Shakhivska community, private households were affected. According to the regional administration, two houses were damaged in each of these villages, with people present at the time of the strikes.
In the Bakhmut district, the Siversk community, in particular the village of Sviato-Pokrovske, came under attack. There, an enemy shell struck a residential building, causing substantial material damage to local residents’ property.
In total, five officially recorded shelling incidents targeting settlements in the region were documented over the past day. Amid the worsening situation, both mandatory and voluntary evacuations continue: 103 people, including 21 children, were evacuated from the frontline areas.
The head of the regional administration, Vadym Filashkin, once again urged residents not to ignore air raid alerts and, where possible, to relocate to safer regions.
Previously, Russian forces attacked two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery and drones. Ukrainian air defence forces also shot down 29 enemy drones.
