The occupiers have made minor advances near Kupiansk — Tregubov
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces have intensified their offensive and managed to make some ground.
This was reported by Viktor Tregubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation.
According to him, the situation on this section of the front remains tense. The enemy is operating in small infantry groups, attempting to covertly approach Ukrainian positions and push defensive forces back across the Oskil River.
Russian units are advancing from the north, particularly in the Golubivka area, where they have managed to partially establish a foothold. Attacks on the northern outskirts of Kupiansk are also continuing.
On the left bank of the Oskil, the occupiers are attempting to push Ukrainian forces back toward Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. The heaviest fighting is taking place near Kivsharivka.
At the same time, Ukrainian troops are holding key positions. Thanks to the use of drones and weapons, the enemy’s advance is being limited, and its units are suffering significant losses.
The occupiers are shelling Vovchansk in an attempt to capture the city and its surroundings, according to the "Forpost" brigade.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Donetsk region. This refers to the area between Kostyantynivka and Druzhkivka, where the Defense Forces were able to improve their positions.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost approximately 1,271,350 troops. In the last 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 950 occupiers.
