Occupying forces shelled Kharkiv and the surrounding region—seven people were injured
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched strikes on Kharkiv and 18 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. Seven civilians were injured as a result of the enemy shelling and attacks.
Both the regional capital and other settlements in the region came under fire. Authorities are reporting on the consequences of the Russian strikes and providing updates on the damage and casualties.
In the village of Vilshany, part of the Solonytsia community, three women—aged 37, 53, and 85—and a 52-year-old man were injured.
In Kharkiv, a 72-year-old woman was wounded.
In the village of Zolochiv, a 43-year-old man was wounded.
In Derhachi, a 69-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
The enemy attacked the Kyiv, Saltiv, and Slobidskyi districts of Kharkiv with drones.
The Russians also deployed one missile, five guided aerial bombs, five “Geran-2”-type UAVs, eight “Molniya”-type UAVs, one FPV drone, and 40 UAVs, the type of which is being determined.
In Kharkiv, the windows of an apartment building were damaged.
In the Bohodukhiv district, power lines, a preschool (Zolochiv), a private home, outbuildings (the village of Lemishchene), an apartment building, a private garage, and three garages (the village of Odnorobivka) were damaged.
In the Izyum district, a cultural facility, two cars, six private homes, an educational institution (Izyum), and power lines (the villages of Komarivka and Chervona Polyana) were damaged.
In the Kharkiv District, an apartment building (Slatine), a health resort, a car (Berezivske), three private homes (Vilshany), a private home (Cherkaski Tyshky), and a post office (Novy Korotych).
The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 259 people over the past 24 hours. A total of 48,891 people have been registered at the center since it began operations.
Oleg Sinehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
Sinehubov stated that all gas stations along the Kharkiv–Poltava highway had been destroyed.
Earlier reports indicated that not a single functioning gas station remained on the Kharkiv–Poltava highway following Russian attacks.
As a reminder, Russian drones attacked the Chernihiv region, damaging a gas station and a resort.
The WOG gas station chain in Kyiv and the Kyiv region will temporarily suspend nighttime operations due to the increased risk of enemy shelling.
