Partisans showed the aftermath of strikes on radar stations in Crimea

Partisans from the "ATESH" movement have reported new findings from their surveillance of a Russian military facility in the temporarily occupied city of Yevpatoria. According to them, the radar stations that were previously targeted by the Ukrainian Defense Forces have sustained serious damage.

At the same time, the facility continues to operate. Russian military personnel are attempting to repair the equipment and maintain the base’s operations.

The "ATESH" movement reported that their agents revisited the military facility in Yevpatoria. The main objective was to assess the current condition of the base following previous strikes, as well as to gather new data on Russian military activity.

According to the partisans, a separate radar company is stationed in this area. It is responsible for monitoring the airspace over the Black Sea and transmitting information to the command posts of the occupying forces.

“ATESH” notes that the characteristic protective domes of the radar stations now look completely different than before. “The characteristic radar domes, which were previously clearly visible above the positions, now look as if they were used as targets. In fact, that is exactly what happened,” the partisans reported.

The published footage indicates that some of the equipment may have sustained serious damage following Ukrainian strikes. At the same time, the occupying authorities, as usual, do not provide accurate information about the extent of the damage.

Despite the damage, the facility has not ceased operations. The partisans report that military activity remains visible on the base’s grounds. Russian troops continue to hold their positions, equipment is operational, and work is underway to repair the damaged equipment. “ATESH” emphasizes that the occupiers are attempting to restore the radar systems to full operational capacity following the previous strikes.

Radar stations play a crucial role in Russia’s air defense system in occupied Crimea. They are responsible for tracking aerial targets over the Black Sea and transmitting information to military command. Therefore, such facilities regularly come under the scrutiny of Ukrainian intelligence and the Defense Forces. Damage to these systems can complicate the work of Russian air defense and reduce the occupiers’ ability to control the airspace.

The “ATESH” movement states that it continues to gather information on military facilities in occupied Crimea. The data obtained is passed on to Ukrainian security and defense forces.

According to the partisans, surveillance of military infrastructure is ongoing, and such checks allow them to assess the effectiveness of previous strikes and document the occupiers’ attempts to repair damaged facilities. While Russian troops repair radars, Ukrainian partisans continue to closely monitor their every move. The "ATESH" partisan movement reported this on Telegram.

The General Staffreleased a map of combat operations in Ukraine as of June 5, 2026.
