The "Skelya" Regiment cleared out Minkivka in the Donetsk region
Assault units of the "Skelya" regiment carried out a successful military operation, driving the Russian terrorist forces out of the village of Minkivka in the Donetsk region.
This was reported by the military unit’s press service, which emphasized the strategic significance of this success.
Minkivka is a key settlement located on the Bakhmut–Sloviansk highway.
Control over this area allowed Ukrainian defenders to thwart the enemy’s plans for further advancement and stabilize the situation in that direction.
The operation was described as swift and well-coordinated. Thanks to the professional actions of the assault troops, they managed not only to liberate the territory but also to relieve the positions of allied forces that were under enemy pressure.

“Assault units of the ‘Skelya’ regiment carried out a swift and coordinated operation, resulting in the liberation of Minkivka—a key settlement on the Bakhmut–Sloviansk highway. These actions thwarted a potential enemy advance and stabilized the situation in the area,” the regiment’s statement reads.
During the combat engagement, Russian occupation forces suffered significant casualties.
According to preliminary data, Ukrainian troops eliminated over 40 Russian servicemen, significantly weakening the enemy’s offensive capabilities in this sector of the front.
As a reminder, the Defense Forces are repelling 34 assault operations by the aggressor in the Pokrovsk direction.
The Defense Forces also struck enemy air defense systems and radar stations in the Donetsk and Bryansk regions.
