On the night of June 2, the enemy deployed over 700 air attack weapons—including missiles and drones—against Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force released a video showing the air defense system in action as it destroyed targets.

That night, the enemy deployed over 700 air attack assets; drone attacks continued throughout the day—dozens of UAVs were shot down by the defenders of the sky.

“Despite exhaustion and fatigue, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are defending the country 24/7 against Russian missiles and drones. Day and night, we hold the skies, standing guard over our homeland for the sake of the country’s future and our children!” the Air Force added in its statement.
Poland has scrambled its combat aircraft in response to Russia’s large-scale air attack on Ukraine.
The Russian attack has damaged energy and oil and gas infrastructure, and there are casualties.
