Russia is preparing strikes against Ukrainian missile technology developers — Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia may focus its future attacks on Ukrainian companies involved in the development and production of missile technology.
The head of state made this statement following a briefing by Oleg Ivashchenko, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian intelligence has analyzed Russian missile production, including manufacturing facilities, weapons output volumes, and supply channels for critical components from abroad.
The president noted that Ukraine is already preparing measures to counter Russian missile production in coordination with international partners.
“We also know that Ukrainian companies demonstrating progress in the development of all types of missile technologies have been targeted as one of the key areas for further Russian strikes against Ukraine—military, political, and propaganda-related,” Zelensky emphasized.
According to him, the Kremlin views the development of Ukrainian ballistic missiles and ballistic missile defense systems as a strategic threat.
