Russia attacked a passenger train in the Kherson region with a drone; one person was injured
In the Kherson region, Russian troops attacked a passenger train heading to Kherson, using several “Shahed”-type drones. The strikes damaged two diesel locomotives, and one female railway worker was injured.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the attack took place at noon.
“At noon, the Russians attacked a passenger train heading to Kherson with several Shahed-type drones. Two diesel locomotives were damaged as a result of the strikes,” Prokudin wrote.
As a result of the attack, the passenger train sustained damage, and the railway infrastructure came under fire from Russian drones.
So far, one casualty has been reported—a 55-year-old female railroad employee.
The woman, in moderate condition, was hospitalized. She sustained:
- a shrapnel wound to her arm;
- a concussion;
- an explosive injury;
- a closed head injury.
Medical personnel continue to provide the victim with the necessary medical care.
Thus, the Russian attack on a passenger train in the Kherson region resulted in damage to two diesel locomotives and injuries to a railway employee.
