Russian occupation forces have once again struck critical infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv region. The energy company’s facilities were targeted in the attack.

This was reported by Chernihivoblenergo JSC.

The company stated: “As a result of the enemy attack, an energy facility was damaged, leaving more than 6,000 customers in the city and region without power.”

Strikes on a number of other infrastructure facilities were also recorded.

Energy officials note that restoration work will begin as soon as the security situation stabilizes: “Emergency restoration work will begin immediately after the situation in the region becomes safe.”

On the morning of April 17, Russian troops launched an attack on Dnipro, resulting in a fire.

Starting in the evening of April 14, Russian occupiers launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, using 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 324 drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets, but some hits were recorded.

In the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers discovered the warhead of a Russian Iskander-K missile. A controlled destruction of the munition is planned at the site.

On the night of April 15, three people were injured in Dnipro and the surrounding region as a result of Russian drone strikes, and damage to civilian infrastructure was reported.
