Infrastructure and homes have been damaged in the Odesa region following an attack by Russia
On the night of April 17, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the Odesa region using strike drones. The shelling damaged port, transportation, and residential infrastructure.
This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, fires broke out at several locations, including within the Danube Biosphere Reserve. The fires have already been extinguished by rescue workers.
Administrative buildings, equipment, and containers were also damaged. At least six private homes are known to have been damaged.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries. Work is ongoing at the sites to address the aftermath of the attack.
In addition, Russian occupation forces once again struck critical infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv region. The facilities of an energy company were targeted.
On the morning of April 17, Russian troops carried out an attack on Dnipro, resulting in a fire.
Starting in the evening of April 14, Russian occupiers launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, using 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 324 drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets, though some hits were recorded.
In the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers discovered the warhead of a Russian Iskander-K missile. A controlled destruction of the munition is planned at the site.
On the night of April 15, three people were injured in Dnipro and the surrounding region as a result of Russian drone strikes, and damage to civilian infrastructure was reported.
