Russia attacked Ukraine with 137 drones; air defense forces shot down 114 targets
On the night of July 10, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine, deploying 137 drones of various types. Air defense forces destroyed or neutralized 114 enemy drones.
According to military sources, the attack began at 6:00 p.m. on July 9.
The occupiers launched Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet-powered ones), “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” “Banderol” loitering munitions, and “Parody” decoy drones from the territories of the Oryol, Bryansk, and Rostov regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces deployed aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups to repel the air attack.
As of 08:00, air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 114 enemy drones in northern, eastern, and southern Ukraine.
At the same time, 18 attack drones were recorded striking 16 locations, and debris from downed drones was found at four locations.
The Ukrainian Air Force noted that the air attack is ongoing, and as of this morning, several Russian drones remained in Ukrainian airspace, which air defense forces continue to engage.

On the night of July 10, Russian troops attacked the town of Valky in the Bohodukhiv district of Kharkiv Oblast with strike drones. A 50-year-old woman was killed and four other people were injured as a result of the enemy strike, according to local authorities and law enforcement officials.
As a reminder, a Russian strike destroyedthe office of a Kyiv-based children’s book publisher.
Russian troops struck Kharkiv and the surrounding region; four children were among the wounded.
In the Odesa region, a fire broke out at a factory following a Russian attack.
