Russia attacked Ukraine with strike drones and guided aerial bombs
On the evening of April 23, Ukrainian defense forces detected a massive movement of enemy strike drones and activity by tactical aircraft in several regions of Ukraine.
The Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force reports on the threat of airstrikes against frontline regions and provides constant updates on target trajectories.
As of 9:31 p.m., UAV movement was recorded in the south of the Kharkiv region heading west, as well as Russian aviation activity in the northeast and southeast directions. The enemy launched guided aerial bombs at areas in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and northern Sumy Oblast. Earlier, drones were spotted near Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, as well as in Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, and Kirovohrad Oblasts.
Local residents are urged to remain in shelters until the air raid alert is lifted due to the high risk of strikes. The situation in frontline areas remains tense due to constant attacks by Russian tactical aviation. Monitoring channels continue to track the movement of drones across the country. The Air Force is working to detect and destroy enemy targets in the airspace.
On April 23, Russian troops struck Kryvyi Rih’s railway infrastructure. The attack caused damage to the train station—the blast wave shattered several windows and doors.
In Dnipro, the number of casualties from the Russian night attack has risen. It is known that the strike also claimed the lives of three people.
