Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia 970 times in the past 24 hours; two people were killed
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 970 strikes on 56 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, two people were killed and 11 others were wounded.
According to Fedorov, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 18 airstrikes on Zarichne, Malokaterynivka, Ternuvate, Yasna Polyana, Novorozivka, Barvinivka, Zhovtenkove, Odarivka, Samiilivka, Ternivka, Vasynivka, Vilnyanka, Mykilsk, Mala Tokmachka, and Omelnyk over the past 24 hours.
In addition, Russian occupiers deployed 740 drones of various types, primarily FPV drones. The following areas came under attack: Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Malokaterynivka, Komyshuvakha, Novotroitske, Novooleksandrivka, Bilenke, Chervonodniprovka, Rozumivka, Kanivske, Hryhorivka, Richne, Novoyakovlivka, Zapasne, Veselyanka, Lezhene, Petropavlivka, Pidhirne, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Plavni, Orikhiv, and a number of other settlements were struck.
Russian forces also shelled Orikhiv with multiple-launch rocket systems.
Another 211 artillery strikes targeted Malokaterynivka, Chervonodniprovka, Hryhorivka, Richne, Zaporozhets, Zapasne, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Plavni, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Chervona Krynytsia, Luhivske, Charivne, Novoselivka, Hirke, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, Kosivtseve, and Nove Zaporizhzhia.
Over the past day, regional authorities received 59 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
At the same time, two people were killed and 11 more residents of the region were wounded as a result of the Russian attacks.

Rescue workers extinguished fires at three warehouses that broke out following a Russian attack on the Kyiv region. Firefighters put out the blazes at all three sites.
In Kyiv and several regions, an air raid alert was issued at 6:24 p.m. on September 1 due to the threat of Russian UAVs. The Ukrainian Air Force urged citizens to immediately seek shelter or follow the “two-wall rule” if safe indoor spaces were not available.
Ukraine is conducting combat tests of at least four jet interceptors designed to counter Russian jet drones.
