Over the past 24 hours, Russia has struck the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 40 times; one person has been killed
Russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 40 times throughout the day. Six districts came under fire; one person was killed and three others were wounded as a result of the shelling.
On Friday, September 4, the Russian army launched a massive attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region. As of 6:30 p.m., the enemy had carried out more than 40 strikes on the region. To carry out the strikes on the region, Russian forces used drones, artillery, aerial bombs, and missiles. The Nikopol district was hit hardest by the attacks. One person was killed and three were wounded there.

Russian forces struck Nikopol, as well as the communities of Marganetsk, Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrivka. The shelling damaged infrastructure, a high school, apartment buildings, private homes, and vehicles.
One person was killed. Three more residents of the district were injured. According to Ganzha, the injured include a 73-year-old woman and two men aged 54 and 62. “The 73-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The 54- and 62-year-old men were hospitalized in moderate condition,” the head of the Regional State Administration reported.

Russian attacks were not limited to the Nikopol district. A total of six districts in the region came under fire during the day.
In the Pavlohrad district, Russian forces attacked the Verbkivska community. Infrastructure there was damaged.
In the Kamyanske District, Verkhivtseve and Vilnohirsk were targeted. A private home and infrastructure were damaged as a result of the shelling.
In the Synelnykivsky district, the Russian army struck the Vasylkivska community. Private homes and outbuildings were damaged there.
Another attack took place in the Samarivsky district. Russian forces struck the Magdalynivska community, damaging private homes and a bus.
In the Kryvyi Rih district, the Zelenodolsk community came under fire. A store and several vehicles were damaged there. Thus, in a single day, Russian troops attacked at least six districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region. More than 40 strikes using various types of weapons were recorded in the region.
Russia continues to strike communities in the region
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast regularly suffers from Russian attacks. Communities near Dnipro and those districts located closer to the front line are particularly frequently targeted. The Russian military uses various weapons. These include, in particular, attack drones, artillery, missiles, and aerial bombs. Such attacks damage more than just residential buildings. The enemy targets civilian infrastructure, businesses, stores, educational institutions, vehicles, and farm buildings.
This time, the Nikopol district was hit the hardest. There, Russian shelling resulted in one fatality and three residents wounded. Oleksandr Hanzha urged residents of the region not to ignore air raid sirens and to stay in safe places during attacks. As of Friday evening, one person was reported killed and three wounded as a result of the Russian strikes. Information regarding the consequences of the shelling may be subject to change. Earlier, Zelenskyy called for strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and protection against ballistic missiles via PURL.
The occupiers have intensified their attacks in the Kupiansk direction.
As a reminder, Russia attacked warehouses and energy infrastructure in the Odesa region.
Earlier, drones attacked Ozon logistics centers in two regions of Russia simultaneously.
Drones also struck Krasnodar, causing a fire at a warehouse.
Earlier, warehouses caught fire in Akulovo, near Moscow.
