Madyar warned NATO of the threat of a rapid strike on the Baltic states
Robert Brovdy, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Force, stated that NATO countries are underestimating the need to prepare for war using modern technology.
According to him, a scenario in which Kyiv could be captured in three days is no longer possible, but he does not rule out a rapid Russian attack on the Baltic states.
“Kyiv in three days will never happen again, but whether the Baltic states could fall in three days—I’m not sure,” Brovdy said.
He emphasized that drones have become one of the key challenges of modern warfare. In August, he said, Russia launched an average of about 300 “Shaheds” at Ukraine every day.
In Brovdi’s view, no army in the world is currently prepared for attacks on this scale, and using traditional air defense systems to intercept hundreds of drones every day would place an excessive burden on the economy.
The commander also noted that Russia is ramping up production of drones and missiles, developing its air defense capabilities, and preparing for a possible mobilization. At the same time, he assessed that NATO has not yet formulated a clear response to such threats.
