The “Shahed” attack on the SBU building in Kyiv may have been a deliberately planned operation by the Russian military.
According to military expert Serhiy Flesh, the drone could have been controlled online and guided via a Mesh radio repeater with internet access. In his opinion, a Russian agent could have activated such a device near the site of the attack—approximately within a 5-kilometer radius.
Flesh noted that such a repeater is small in size—roughly half the size of a school backpack.
He also claims that there were no other “Shaheds” in the air during the attack, so, in his opinion, it would have been impossible to control the drone directly from Russia via a relay chain.
Earlier, Sibiga called the strike on the SBU a serious escalation.
