Russia is preparing a large-scale mobilization in the occupied territories
Russian occupation forces plan to forcibly mobilize up to 50,000 residents of Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories to fight against their own country.
This was reported by Refat Chubarov, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.
According to him, as early as the beginning of April, Russia may begin the active phase of conscription in the annexed Crimea, as well as in the partially occupied districts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
Chubarov noted that the occupiers are already using various methods to pressure the local population: covert mobilization, intimidation, and bribery. In this way, they are trying to force people to fight against Ukraine.
At the same time, no mass roundups have been reported so far, but full-scale conscription, he said, could begin in the coming days.

The situation is cause for concern, as it involves the forced recruitment of Ukrainian citizens to participate in combat operations on the side of the aggressor state.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia plans to deploy ground control stations for long-range drones both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Belarus.
