Russia launched a massive drone attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging grain warehouses
On the night of August 7–8, Russian forces launched a massive attack with strike drones on the Dnipropetrovsk region. Six districts in the region were targeted, and one person was wounded.
Air defense forces shot down 17 enemy UAVs.
According to the head of the regional military administration, the Dniprovskyi district suffered the heaviest strikes. Fires broke out on the premises of a logistics company as a result of the attack.
Information on the extent of the damage is currently being verified.
In the Nikopol district, Russian troops attacked the communities of Nikopol, Marganetsk, and Pokrovsk. Gas stations and a private residential building were damaged as a result of the strikes. One person was injured.
In the Synelnykivsky District, specifically in the Synelnykove and Petropavlivka communities, enemy drones caused cars to catch fire.
In the Kryvyi Rih district, the Apostolivska community came under attack. Grain warehouses there were damaged.
In Pavlohrad, a gas station and a residential building were damaged as a result of a Russian attack.
In addition, a strike caused a fire in the Krynychanska community of the Kamyanske district.
In total, overnight, air defense forces shot down 17 Russian military attack drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Rescue workers, law enforcement officers, and other emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes and where debris fell. Specialists are addressing the aftermath of the attack, documenting the damage, and providing assistance to those affected.
Russian forces regularly attack the Dnipropetrovsk region with attack drones, artillery, and missiles. Civilian infrastructure, businesses, residential buildings, and communities in the region are coming under fire.

As a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of August 7–8, fires broke out in the Holosiivskyi and Obolonskyi districts of the capital. Four people are known to have been injured, three of whom were hospitalized.
On the night of August 8, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with six Iskander-M ballistic missiles, S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, and 151 attack drones.
In Mykolaiv on August 7, a civilian vessel in the port was damaged as a result of an attack by Russian drones. No one was injured.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 978 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region. Three civilians were killed and four others were wounded as a result of the attacks.
The day before, Russian forces attacked the grounds of a hospital in central Kherson with a drone. Four female medical workers were injured; all suffered blast injuries and concussions.
On the night of July 19, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. One person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of the attack. Damage and fires were reported in five districts of the capital.
Throughout the day on July 17, Russian forces carried out strikes on Kharkiv and 29 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. Two people were killed and 18 others were wounded as a result of the shelling; among the injured were five children.
