Partisans carried out a sabotage operation on the railroad in the Voronezh Region of the Russian Federation
Agents of the “ATESH” partisan movement claimed to have disabled four relay cabinets on a railway section in Russia’s Voronezh Oblast. According to the movement, Russian troops use this railway to transport military cargo to units operating in the Lyman area.
According to the guerrilla movement, the relay cabinets were damaged on sections near Voronezh, Novovoronezh, Lisok, and Ostrogozhsk.
According to “ATESH,” disruptions to the railway automation system delayed the shipment of ammunition and engineering equipment intended for the 1st and 15th Guards Regiments and the 254th Motorized Rifle Regiment.
The ministry stated that following the damage to the infrastructure, the Russian command had to urgently deploy repair crews and additional forces to guard railway facilities.
“ATESH” also stated that the disruption of railway logistics served to support Operation “Vivaldi” by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

“The partisan resistance continues to operate behind enemy lines, complicating the invaders’ military logistics and helping to thwart the Russian command’s plans,” the partisan movement stated.
At the same time, there is currently no independent confirmation in open sources regarding the extent of damage to the railway infrastructure or the incident’s impact on military transport.

Thus, reports of four relay cabinets being put out of commission and delays in military shipments are currently based on a statement by the “ATESH” partisan movement.

Earlier, agents of the “ATESH” partisan movement claimed to have destroyed a communications tower near Perm on the eve of the strike against the “Lukoil-Permnaftorgsintez” oil refinery. According to the group, the tower provided backup communication between the plant’s security and the Russian military personnel guarding the facility.
The partisans reported a strike against Russian military logistics in the Belgorod region. According to the “ATESH” movement, agents disabled two relay cabinets on the railroad, forcing the Russians to delay the departure of a train carrying military cargo.
