Russia launched a massive drone attack on industrial infrastructure in the Odesa region

On the night of May 13, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack with strike drones on the Odesa region. The region’s industrial infrastructure was targeted.

This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, on Telegram.

According to him, the Russian army launched several waves of attacks with kamikaze drones, resulting in damage to warehouses and utility buildings.

“Last night, the Russian army launched a massive attack with strike UAVs on the industrial infrastructure of the Odesa region. As a result of several waves of strikes, damage to warehouses and utility buildings was recorded,” Kipper said.

Localized fires broke out following the attacks but were quickly extinguished by rescue workers.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupiers carried out 1,006 strikes on 49 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Three people were wounded as a result of enemy attacks in the Zaporizhzhia district.

In the Sumy region, a Russian drone attacked civilian infrastructure, injuring a 13-year-old boy. The child was hospitalized, and doctors are currently performing surgery. The strike occurred in the Bilopil community; the circumstances and consequences of the attack are being clarified. 

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the Russian strike on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih, where two elderly people were killed and their nine-month-old granddaughter was seriously injured. The head of state stated that following the so-called “three-day ceasefire,” Russia continues to attack civilians and kill Ukrainian civilians. 

In Kryvyi Rih, there are fatalities and injuries as a result of a strike on a residential building.
