Russia launched a massive shelling attack on Kramatorsk; there are fatalities and injuries
On the morning of July 31, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Kramatorsk. One person was killed in the attack, and four other civilians were wounded.
According to Goncharenko, at around 10:25 a.m., Russian troops struck a residential neighborhood in the city.
Residential buildings, a supermarket, and an educational institution were hit by enemy fire.
According to preliminary reports, a woman was killed as a result of the Russian attack.
Three women and one man were also injured.
“According to preliminary information, a woman was killed. Three other women and a man were injured. All have received the necessary medical care,” said Oleksandr Goncharenko.
Following the shelling, emergency and municipal services are addressing the aftermath of the attack and assessing the extent of the damage and the number of casualties.
Authorities are urging residents not to ignore air raid sirens and to follow safety guidelines, as the threat of new strikes by Russian forces remains high.

In addition, on the morning of July 31, Russian forces attacked the Sloviansk community in Donetsk Oblast. The occupiers used a FAB-250 aerial bomb and an FPV drone, resulting in injuries to a civilian. The consequences of the attack are being assessed.
Following the attack on Sloviansk, part of the community was left without power.
