Russian Airstrike Hits Sloviansk, Leaving 2 Dead and 11 Injured
Russian forces carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and injuries to 11 others.
This was reported by Vadym Lyakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, on Facebook.
“This morning, around 9:15 a.m., the enemy launched an airstrike with three guided bombs on the central part of the city. Two people were killed. Currently, 11 others are reported injured, including a 14-year-old girl,” Lyakh wrote.
The airstrike damaged at least six multi-story buildings and 10 vehicles.
On March 9, Russian forces carried out 44 attacks across Sumy region. Thirty settlements were hit, including a TV tower and regional energy infrastructure. Local services are working to repair the damage.
Additionally, emergency and search operations continue in the village of Malynivka, Kharkiv region, following a Russian strike on a warehouse building.
It should be recalled that Russian forces also targeted two districts in Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery and drones.
