Russia strikes energy facility in Sumy region, worker injured
On the afternoon of November 28, Russian forces attacked an energy facility in Sumy Oblast. As a result of the enemy attack, an electrician from the local energy company was injured and hospitalized.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy and JSC “Sumyoblenergo.”
The Ministry of Energy stated that a Russian drone targeted the energy facility while a team of workers was performing repair and restoration work. One of the electricians, responsible for substation maintenance, was wounded. Medical care is being provided to him.
JSC “Sumyoblenergo” later confirmed the attack and the injury of the employee:
“During another attack by the Russian army on Sumy today, a worker from JSC ‘Sumyoblenergo’ was injured. The energy specialist was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving medical assistance.”
In Zaporizhzhia, Russian forces carried out a new attack on a fire and rescue unit, damaging the building and equipment.
