A third of clashes in a day occur on the Pokrovsk direction
Today, Ukrainian forces are once again holding back the advance of Russian occupiers. The most intense fighting is taking place on the Pokrovsk direction, where a third of all clashes in the past 24 hours occurred. In total, 98 combat actions were recorded along the entire front line, according to a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold their positions despite massive enemy attacks. Since the beginning of the day, two clashes have taken place on the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The Russians carried out three airstrikes, dropped three guided bombs, and conducted 81 shelling attacks, including eight with multiple rocket launchers (MRLs).
On the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks, while five clashes are ongoing. The enemy is attempting to advance in the areas of Vovchansk, Vovchansky Khutory, Chuhunivka, Ambarne, Dehtyarne, and toward Kruhle.
On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to push Ukrainian units toward Petropavlivka. On the Lyman direction, the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Novovodiane and Kolodiazi, and on the Sloviansk direction, they tried twice to advance near Dronivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, one attempt by the enemy to penetrate defenses toward Minkivka was recorded. On the Kostiantynivka direction, the occupiers carried out 15 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyno, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, Rusynyi Yar, and toward Sofiivka. One clash is still ongoing there.
The most intense fighting today is on the Pokrovsk direction. Since the beginning of the day, the Russians have made 38 attempts to push back Ukrainian forces. The defense has already repelled 36 attacks. The heaviest fighting took place near the settlements of Shakhove, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Filiia.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four assault actions near Zelenyi Hai, Oleksiivka, Stepove, and Krasnohirskyi. One clash is ongoing.
On the Huliaipole direction, 21 clashes occurred near Solodke, Huliaipole, Dorozhnanka, Zelenyi, and toward Varvarivka. Seven clashes are ongoing.
On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted three breakthroughs near Stepnohirsk and Prymorske; one clash is ongoing. On the Prydniprovski direction, no enemy attacks were recorded.
The defense forces continue to control the situation on all directions, repelling attacks and preventing the enemy from advancing.
