Russia to reroute grain exports from the Sea of Azov due to drone attacks – Reuters

Russia is preparing to reroute grain shipments from the Sea of Azov due to Ukrainian drone attacks on its tankers, ferries, and other vessels. About a quarter of Russia’s grain exports pass through this region, and following the latest attacks, commercial vessels have been unable to pass through the Kerch Strait.

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture stated that the situation will not affect export volumes or domestic food supplies. The ministry insists that, if necessary, supply chains will be rerouted through deep-water grain terminals on the Black Sea or ports on the Baltic Sea. At the same time, the relevant Russian ministries have not officially confirmed the imposition of restrictions on navigation in the area.

Reuters reports this.

As a reminder, the Special Forces struck another 15 vessels of the Russian shadow fleet overnight.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with the Main Intelligence Directorate and the State Border Guard Service, struck one of Rosneft’s largest oil refineries. A key industrial facility in the southern Volga region was also targeted.
