Russians struck a ship flying the Marshall Islands flag with a drone; there are fatalities
On the evening of July 14, Russian forces launched yet another strike against port infrastructure in the Odesa region. During the attack, an enemy drone struck a civilian vessel flying the flag of the Marshall Islands, damaging its superstructure.
The strike by the enemy UAV caused a fire on board the civilian vessel. Two people were killed as a result of the attack.
Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, emphasized that the enemy continues to deliberately target civilian infrastructure and civilians, violating international humanitarian law. Efforts are currently underway to address the aftermath of yet another enemy attack on the region’s port facilities.

Also, on July 14, as a result of a Russian strike on two merchant ships flying the flags of Tanzania and Liberia that were traveling through a maritime corridor in the Black Sea, the captain of one of the ships was killed. In total, the 11-member crew was evacuated to shore, with three people sustaining injuries.
As a result of the Russian attack on Odesa on the night of July 13, the premises of a motor transport company, private homes, and a local health resort were damaged. A fire broke out among the buses at the site of the strike.
