Russia plans to deploy drone control stations in Belarus and the temporarily occupied territories — Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia plans to deploy ground-based control stations for long-range drones both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Belarus.
He announced this following a report by Oleg Ivashchenko, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, according to Ukrinform.
According to the head of state, this specifically involves the deployment of four such stations on Belarusian territory.
“We have clear information… We will respond accordingly,” Zelenskyy emphasized, adding that he had instructed officials to inform international partners and the media about the data available for public release.
The president also stated that Ukraine has evidence of Russia transferring intelligence to the Iranian regime. According to him, this is achieved through the use of radio-technical and radio-electronic intelligence capabilities, as well as data obtained through cooperation with partners in the Middle East.
In addition, Zelenskyy noted that the Russian command systematically exaggerates its successes on the front lines, using such data in negotiations.
As a reminder, Belarus will treat Russian soldiers at its health resorts.
Russia is also using Belarus to carry out provocations against NATO.
