Russia strikes a residential district of Zaporizhzhia: high-rise building damaged, one injured
During the night of 29–30 January 2023, Russian terrorist forces carried out a missile strike on a residential high-rise building in a sleeping district of Zaporizhzhia.
According to Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, one person was injured as a result of the attack.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene, assessing the damage and providing assistance to those affected.
This shelling followed an earlier attack on the city’s industrial infrastructure, further highlighting Russia’s aggressive policy towards civilian targets in Ukraine. In total, more than 100 apartments and dozens of vehicles were damaged, indicating severe destruction in the area. Local authorities and emergency services continue efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
