Russians killed three people with three KAB bombs in a strike on Zaporizhzhia
On Thursday, July 16, Russian occupation forces struck Zaporizhzhia, firing three guided aerial bombs (KABs) at the city. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the enemy strikes, private residential buildings were completely destroyed and other surrounding structures were significantly damaged; fires broke out at the impact sites. Initially, the official reported two casualties, but later updated the figures and confirmed that the death toll from the Russian attack had risen to three.
Rescue workers and the city’s emergency services are currently continuing to work swiftly at the scene of the tragedy. According to preliminary information, at least one person may still be trapped under the rubble of the buildings. The final consequences of the enemy shelling and the extent of the damage are currently being assessed.
