According to the President, 11 people, including a child, were injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian strike.
“Even before the air raid alert was issued, civilian infrastructure had already been hit. Emergency services are on the scene: residential buildings, offices, and a theological seminary were damaged in the capital,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
Work is also underway to address the aftermath of Russian shelling in the Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.
The president called on international partners to implement as soon as possible the agreements reached during the NATO summit to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense system.

“We expect our partners to fulfill their promises regarding the support packages to protect our people, which were agreed upon during the NATO meeting. We must move as quickly as possible to implement the agreement on licenses for the ‘Patriot’ system and the joint European anti-ballistic missile project. Right now, the number one priority for all our institutions is to ensure this,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
