Russia lost 900 occupying troops and 41 artillery systems in a single day in the war against Ukraine
The total combat losses of Russian forces since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from 24 February 2022 to 5 March 2026, amount to approximately 1,270,400 personnel. Over the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated 900 personnel and 41 artillery systems.
This was reported in a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
Total combat losses of Russia in the war against Ukraine are estimated as follows:

- Armoured combat vehicles – 24,142 (+7)
- Artillery systems – 37,915 (+41)
- Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 1,667 (+0)
- Air defence systems – 1,319 (+0)
- Aircraft – 435 (+0)
- Helicopters – 348 (+0)
- Operational-tactical UAVs – 158,381 (+1,950)
- Cruise missiles – 4,384 (+0)
- Warships/boats – 30 (+0)
- Submarines – 2 (+0)
- Vehicles and fuel tankers – 81,434 (+210)
- Special equipment – 4,079 (+1)
The General Staff noted that the figures are being clarified.
