Russia launched up to 3,000 drones at Ukraine over the past week — Ignat

Over the past week, Russia has launched massive attacks, deploying approximately 2,800–3,000 unmanned aerial vehicles over Ukrainian territory.

This was reported on air by Yuriy Ignat, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force.

“2,800–3,000—that’s roughly the figure for the week. These are the drones for which we provide statistics every morning. In addition, there are ‘Molniya,’ ‘Lancet,’ and so on,” he said.

Ignat emphasized that the main problem for Ukraine remains the “Shahed” drone, which differs significantly in its technical characteristics from the model that was in use at the start of the war.

“The Shahed has become completely different from what it was at the start of the invasion. These are now two different aircraft. It can be resistant to electronic countermeasures by using specific components on its antennas,” he noted.

Ignat spokeabout the targets and results of the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack.

The number of casualties from the Russian attack has risen in the Kyiv region. Currently, four people are reported dead and 15 wounded.

On the night of March 14, Russian troops carried out a massive attack on the Kyiv region using drones and missiles. Civilian settlements were hit, resulting in deaths and injuries.

The day before, Russian troops attacked the Hlukhiv community with guided aerial bombs, injuring three local residents. Private homes and cars were damaged, and cleanup efforts are underway. Rescue workers have already surveyed the area and confirmed that no one is trapped under the rubble.

There have been dozens of attacks on the front lines since the start of the day, with the heaviest fighting near Kostyantynivka.
