Russia carried out nearly a thousand strikes on Donetsk region, damaging civilian facilities
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 980 strikes on Donetsk region, resulting in damage to 22 civilian facilities.
This was reported by the Donetsk police on Facebook.
“On 16 February, the police recorded 980 Russian strikes along the front line and on residential areas of the region… 22 civilian facilities were damaged, including 16 residential buildings,” the statement reads.




Three settlements were under attack: Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, and the village of Yasnohirka.
In Mykolaivka, the Russians dropped two KAB-250 bombs, damaging 14 apartment buildings, two educational institutions, and critical infrastructure.
In Kramatorsk, the enemy used two Molniya-2 UAVs, resulting in damage to two private houses and an outbuilding.
