Russia has struck the Zaporizhzhia region more than a thousand times; there are casualties
Over the course of August 20, Russian troops carried out 1,069 strikes on 51 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Four people were wounded as a result of the enemy attacks.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the occupiers used various types of weapons.
In particular, 17 airstrikes on settlements in the region were recorded. Russian troops also used multiple-launch rocket systems on 10 other occasions.
The most intense attacks were carried out by drones. The Russians used 787 UAVs of various types, primarily FPV drones. Additionally, 255 artillery strikes were recorded.
As a result of the Russian attacks, the police received 70 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Four people were injured as a result of strikes on Zaporizhzhia, the Zaporizhzhia district, and the Polohiv district.
Russian troops continue to systematically attack populated areas in the Zaporizhzhia region, using drones, artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, and aircraft.

On the evening of August 20 and overnight on August 21, Russian troops attacked the Nikopol, Synelnykiv, and Pavlohrad districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones. Local authorities reported on the consequences of the strikes.
On the night of August 21, Russian forces attacked the village of Lebyazhe in the Chuhuiv district with six strike drones. Two women were killed in the attack, two others were wounded, and private homes were damaged or destroyed.
On the night of August 21, Russia launched a massive drone strike on the Sumy region, targeting Sumy and Konotop. The shelling damaged residential buildings, and at least two people were injured.
