Russian troops are unable to break through to Lyman due to logistical problems

Russian troops are unable to break through to Lyman due to logistical problems

Russian occupation forces are attempting to infiltrate the Lyman area and advance, but are failing to achieve their objectives. The Russians’ efforts are being hampered by logistical problems.

“Overall, the situation hasn’t changed drastically. It remains as tense as it was. The enemy continues to deploy its unmanned systems, and fiber-optic drones are not uncommon,” said Volodymyr Hirnyak.

According to him, on the ground, Russian tactics have generally remained the same: small infantry groups attempting to infiltrate and sow chaos in the brigade’s battle formations.

“This tactic is not new. They have been using it for a long time, not only in our brigade’s area of responsibility but also in the areas of responsibility of other brigades,” noted Volodymyr Hirnyak.

The enemy’s main objective remains unchanged—to infiltrate and reach the town of Lyman.

“Their plans are no secret; they’re trying to reach the front lines near Lyman to open up a path for further operations and gain momentum in their advance… But they’re facing logistical problems. Their groups moved out and headed in one direction, and they are subsequently detected and neutralized,” added the officer from the communications department of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Second Lieutenant Volodymyr Hirnyak, an officer with the communications department of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Volodymyr Monomakh, spoke about this on Army TV.

Earlier, it was reported that damage to power infrastructure was recorded in the Brovary community as a result of an enemy attack.
